Green Valley, AZ Boasts 8 Area Golf Courses

Southern Arizona is well-known for great golfing weather and spectacular golf courses. The Green Valley Area Boasts 7 public Golf Courses, along with 3 private golf courses, creating a large variety of choices for golf enthusiasts.

Additionally, there are approximately 2 dozen golf courses in Tucson, just a short 23 mile drive to the north. Several championship courses such as Star Pass, Raven and El Conquistador as well as the locally popular El Rio and Silverbell Municipal Golf courses are just of few of your choices. Areas south of Green Valley offer many golfing choices as well, including Kino Springs, Tubac Golf Resort, Rio Rico Resort, and Country Club in Rio Rico.

Canoa Hills Golf Course   (520) 648-1880

An 18-hole, par 72 course with natural desert vegetation, it provides spectacular views of the Santa Rita Mountains. There is also a driving range, pro shop, putting green, club rentals, snack bar and lounge. 18 Hole Green Fees vary by the season.

Canoa Ranch Golf Course   (520) 393-1966

This course is a par 70, 18-hole course that plays 6552 yards. Also available are: pro shop, driving range, putting green and 2 chipping greens. Rates vary by the season. This course also offers a semi-private membership with a member-only clubhouse and is home of The Grill on the Green, a full-service restaurant and lounge.

Haven Public Golf Course & Tortuga Golf Course     (520) 625-4281

Haven Public Golf Course is a par 72, 18-hole course and holds the title as the oldest course in Green Valley, built in 1963. It has a driving range, club rentals and a snack shop and lounge. Rates vary by season. The Tortuga Golf Course is operated by Haven and just adjacent to it. It is a short, Par 3, nine-hole course with distances ranging from 50 – 90 yards; walk only course. No reservations are taken.

This championship course plays 6965 yards from championship tees and features a par 72, one-of-a-kind course that meanders through the high desert terrain with the Santa Rita Mountains providing a panoramic backdrop. Amenities include a putting green, practice range, practice bunkers, driving range and pro shop. Rates vary by the season and food is also available at the full-service Quail Creek Grill & Lounge.

San Ignacio Golf Club       (520) 393-5802

This challenging course plays 6704 yards from regulation tees and features a par 71 desert layout with four sets of tees. Amenities include a practice range and pro shop. Food is available at the San Ignacio Coyote

Torres Blancas              (520) 625-5200

This course plays 6978 yards from regulation tees and is a par 72, 18-hole traditional Links style course that extends along the Santa Cruz River and the largest pecan orchards in Arizona. There is a pro shop, club rental, driving range, putting green and chipping greens on the premises.

Tubac Golf Resort         (520) 398-2211

This course is a par 71, 18-hole course playing 6575 yards. This course is perhaps most noted for the lake at the 4th hole, which was specifically created for the movie Tin Cup with Kevin Costner. The Resort Offers Hacienda Suites, Casita Suites,  Posada Rooms, a full service spa, and outstanding restaurants , making it the perfect all-in-one get-away destination.
